The Airplane Boys are more than just a phenomenon they are a movement. Some describe this movement as a culmination of creative energy mashed with pure enthusiasm, love and devotion, they simply call it Beau Monde. Treating each day as it were their last these boys truly usher in a new generation of young men that stand on the precipice of their own limitation wondering if they have what it takes to take the next step. When asked what’s the biggest risk they had taken thus far in their careers, the boys unanimously answered that each day that they strive to do what they do is a risk. Poignant words coming from a few “boys”. Suffice it to say that when we got down to chatting with the Airplane Boys we chose to take a slightly different approach one that put the spotlight on who they were as people vs their music. Why you ask? Well, simply put once you understand the man you automatically understand his art. As such, we hope that this interview sheds some light into the lives of these great artists and consequently helps you better understand their amazing music and movement.
We would also like to send a special shout-out to our dear friend Brenda Ha of Random Media Ent, assisting her Marvin Morgan and the ever fantastic Ashley MacIntyre of MacIntyre Communications for making all this happen. Thank you!
