Timothy Oulton Opens In Canada

Timothy Oulton

Hello UpCountry, guess who just moved into the neighbourhood? That’s right, Timothy Oulton. The antiques giant has made itself a cozy home in the fabulous design district at King Street East. In addition, TO has also made nests in Montreal’s Royalmount design district and Victoria’s Luxe Home Interiors; making a grand total of three stores Canada wide.

To showcase the collections and make it easier for patrons to find their interior decor preferences, TO has grouped the pieces  into beautiful segments called roomsets. There are a total of six roomsets, each appealing to a different aesthetic sense. Take a gander below and be overcome with covetous feelings.

The Beat Generation room concept like the name suggests, hearkens to the poets and creatives of the Beat generation – the romantics, Blake, Thoreau and Whitman.

On the other hand, the Loft Living room concept – a lush mix of luxurious vintage moleskin, soft leathers, salvaged timber and steel; is all about the materials.

The sporty man would fall in love with the Sports Club room concept. The room is exactly as the name states but done with a polished, refined elegance that lets you feel a bit grand despite the fact that you’re sweating like a pig.

The perfectly understated, overscaled and polished steel look of the Metro room concept is a study in urbane sophistication; a perfect backdrop for romantic intrigue and thrilling possibilities, Metro helps you live larger.

The Gentleman’s room concept doffs its hat to the traditional English hunting lodge style. This is where chaps retire after dinner to escape the small talk and share a brandy and enjoy the spoils of victory.

Last but by no means least, the World Traveller room concept with its vintage trunks, classic upholstery pieces and travel memorabilia; pays nostalgic tribute to romantic sea voyages. Whew! What a rush!

So, does an orgasm of your aesthetic senses sound like something you would love to indulge in? Well, drive on over and say hello to your new neighbour and don’t forget the cup of sugar. By that of course, we mean your wallet. Cheerio!
